Q:
what is the bleed required for vinyl banners?
Asked 8 months ago by rachel
A:

You can definitely upload your artwork in full bleed so we can make sure that no important elements will be compromised during the cutting process and this would also eliminate the appearance of white border along the edges of the final product. The artwork needs to be built to the final trim size plus 1/8 bleed on each side. Also, when generating the file into the proper format, do not use any crop or printer marks, as these will increase the dimensions of the design file

The shipping cost is not what you were expecting for your order. The shipping cost is normally calculated based on the weight of the item, the distance of the shipping location, and the shipping method. In order for us to get an estimated shipping cost, you may configure the specifications on the website. Then, you may click "additional details." and input your zipcode.

Q:
I had a banner made elsewhere once. They stated it was made of vinyl. To me it was paint covered paper. It crinkled when bent and didn't hang nice. Is there a difference in this vinyl and the vinyl that use to create a banner?
Asked 9 months ago by Nancy
A:

Vinyl banners are typically made from PVC (polyvinyl chloride) material, which is a durable and flexible plastic. These banners are designed to withstand outdoor conditions and are often used for advertising purposes.

What you described as "paint-covered paper" sounds like a different material altogether, possibly a paper-based material coated with paint or a thin layer of vinyl. This material is likely less durable and prone to crinkling when bent, as you mentioned.

The vinyl banners that we offer are made of 13 oz vinyl, while the 18 oz vinyl banner allows for double-sided printing and is thicker for additional durability.

Q:

Q:
Whats the difference between a banner and a poster. Can banners be mounted on windows, how
Asked 9 months ago by Rob J.
A:

Our custom-printed banners are made from 13- or 18-ounce, 100% vinyl material. Our posters are printed on various types of materials, such as high-quality archival photo paper, 24 pt cardstock, foamboard, and PVC.

When ordering banners, you have the option to add grommets to ensure that you have the holes you need to properly display your sign.
