Brushed aluminum signs, the ultimate in durability and aesthetics, are made by printing any image, graphic, or design directly onto a 3mm brushed aluminum e-panel material. This material has a brushed face and is composed of two sheets of aluminum with a reinforced polyethylene core. This makeup allows for maximum durability while providing the appearance of stainless steel at a fraction of the price.
Designed for both internal and external use, brushed aluminum signs are commonly used to display business names, logos, suite numbers, titles, and general information. - Click “View Proof” for a real-time preview. There’s also Ruler, Bleed, and Grid lines to help you place the design elements accurately. You can toggle these on and off.
- Click “Save & Continue” once you’re done. You can also click “Save” if you want to finish your draft at a later time.
Questions and Answers
White ink on brushed aluminum differs from our standard aluminum signs. White ink is typically only used as a spot ink behind white text or essential white in graphics. This way, white portions of your sign that aren’t text will simply blend in with the brushed finish.
Our brushed aluminum signs are of the standard 3 mm (1/8") thickness, which is the equivalent of approximately 11-gauge steel.
Although neither our regular aluminum signs nor brushed signs are reflective in nature, we do have Custom Reflective Aluminum Signs which are visible both day and night, and are typically used for road, safety, real estate signage, and more.
We offer free shipping on all orders over $99 except for rigid signs whose dimensions are over 36” because signs this big require freight shipping.
Yes, but we highly recommend selecting the Drilled Holes option to ensure a perfect fit with the standoffs. It is also very reasonably priced and saves you time!
Our drilled holes are by default placed 1” from each corner and are either 3/8" or 1/4" in diameter. If you need different hole locations than what we offer, select the “Custom” option within the “Drilled Holes” dropdown. You can then specify this customization in the comment field on the checkout page. Additional charges do apply to signs with custom drilled holes.
We do accept custom size requests in addition to our standard sizes (8” x 8”, 10” x 10”, 12” x 12”, 24” x 18”, 4’ x 2’). Please note that smallest sign we can do is 4” x 4”, and the biggest sign we can print is 48” x 94”.
With proper care and placement, your sign should last at a minimum of 3-5 years. This estimated lifespan can vary depending on the type and location of usage. For example, outdoor usage with constant exposure to a harsh climate may result in a shorter lifespan than a sign that is placed indoors and in a location that will not be inadvertently scratched or damaged. You can also extend the lifespan of your sign and protect it from the elements by having it coated with our glossy protective laminate.
We offer free design services with up to three revisions. We are also usually able to accommodate design requests at no added cost. Feel free to contact us to discuss your design needs.
Much like our free design services, the number of colors included in your design will not impact cost since we print everything in full color. The only time color may impact the price of your sign is when color matching is requested. In this case, there is a $100 charge per color, per material.
