I don't think it will shadow or smear in long time usage. Just make sure to use the dry-erase markers on the accessories page online. Using non-dry-erase markers would possibly have a shadow on the material if used over time.
For the panels of the A-frame signs, we have a few choices. We provide a 4mm corrugated plastic insert with velcro for Standard A-Frames and a 4mm corrugated plastic insert for Premium A-Frames.
