We assembled our Editorial Content Team to ensure that Signs.com is providing the most in-depth information on critical subjects of interest to the signage community. Each content team member brings significant expertise in the signage, print, and graphics markets – together, they account for more than 125 years of industry experience.
Their knowledge allows us to offer what many other sites cannot: objective intelligence and data that has been honed over decades. As a result, we’re able to pass along detailed as well as timely advice to Signs.com customers and all small businesses needing guidance on making their next signage decision.
Subject Matter Experts
Bryan Halladay
Signs.com’s production manager, Bryan Halladay is a 20-year veteran in the sign industry, and has spent an equal number of years with our company. His background encompasses just about every facet of signage – from digital and conventional printing to setup, finishing, and installation of the final product. As a manager at both the departmental and production levels throughout his career, Bryan has extensive experience in making equipment-acquisition decisions, developing new products, scouting industry tradeshows, researching industry trends, problem solving for alternative signage solutions, and much more.
Travis Baker
Travis Baker is the Print Department Manager for Signs.com. In the printing industry for more than 20 years, he got his start in lithography, and moved into wide-format digital print work with our company in 2010 (he commandeered a digital flatbed press for two years prior to assuming the manager position). Travis currently oversees a team of operators and maintains equipment throughout the Signs.com production facility; he’s trained to operate and repair a broad range of printing and finishing equipment.
Bret Combe
Prepress manager at Signs.com and Ferrari Color for nearly 14 years, Bret ensures that the graphic designs and content meet quality and technical standards before being printed. In addition, he selects and implements software to improve productivity and quality, and he oversees scheduling and activities of our prepress staff. Bret studied graphic design at Eagle Gate College in Layton, Utah, and previously worked with Fresenius Medical Care.
Marcel Cochegrus
Marcel Cochegrus is Signs.com’s graphic design director, guiding all of our company’s design activities and projects. He has more than 15 years’ experience in branding/logo work, product design and development, packaging, point-of-purchase design and store signage, environmental graphics, illustration, and image consulting. Marcel’s considerable knowledge of and experience with Adobe’s Creative Suite – especially Photoshop and Illustrator – enable him to ensure that Sign.com’s customers can see their design become signage that is both aesthetically pleasing and a highly effective marketing tool.

Our marketing team comprises an array of professionals who have worked with businesses of all types and sizes around the U.S. and beyond. For our Signs.com content, they focus on providing ideas, tips, and other valuable contributions to our blog and more.
Marty McGhie
Marty McGhie serves as a General Manager at Digital Room. His responsibilities include managing the Salt Lake location's initiatives and direction as well as overseeing the corporate development of the company as a whole. Marty previously served as CEO of Signs.com and prior to that was CFO, general manager, and owner with Ferrari Color, where he directed production, financial, and personnel operations. He has also held positions with the accounting firm of Arthur Andersen in Seattle, and Ernst & Young in Salt Lake City. Marty received a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a master’s degree in Accounting/Information Systems, both from BYU.
Nelson James
Nelson started Signs.com from the ground up and has shaped it into one of the fastest-growing private companies in America. He is now Vice President of Signs and Banners at Digital Room. Nelson is also a co-founder of digital marketing agency Stryde, and previously was president and co-founder of SEO.com. In addition, he has served as an advisor to multiple companies, and has been a guest lecturer and adjunct professor on digital marketing at Weber State University. Nelson graduated cum laude from Brigham Young University in advertising from the communications department.
