How to Use Wall Decal Templates
We offer hundreds of free design templates you can use to start your wall decal project. Each template is fully customizable using our intuitive online design tool. You can change the text, replace colors, and even add more images. Once you save your design, it will be added to your account. In the future, you can go back to make adjustments to the artwork or reorder the same design.
Installation
Remove all residue and dirt from the wall with mild soap and water. Make sure the vinyl wall decals have been brought up to room temperature before installing. Install on a smooth dry surface by starting at the top edge of the graphic and working your way down, slowly removing the backing as you go.
Care
To clean your wall decals, gently wipe them with a damp cloth, making sure not to saturate the adhesive side with water.
Removal & Storage
You can peel the decals off the wall for storage. Place them back onto original backing if available. Store them at room temperature with 50% or less humidity for up to a year. To avoid creasing, do not roll them too tightly, fold, or lay heavy objects on your decals. Wall decals can tear with excessive tension.

Our wall decals are made out of 4 mil. adhesive vinyl. The opacity of adhesive vinyl depends more on the specific material and finish than just the thickness alone. Generally, a 4 mil adhesive vinyl can be opaque if it is designed with an opaque or solid color finish.

This type of material may not be suitable for a wall with fabric material. We do, however, offer carpet stickers, which can adhere to low-pile carpet. Yes, we do accept vector images. In terms of gradient colors, these are prone to banding, there are lines in between the transition of colors. Which is not advisable to do in large format printing.
The shape of the decal would depend on the shape chosen in the specifications. If custom is chosen, then it would follow the shape of the artwork. Without a background, this should automatically be white or the color of the artwork's background.
