Installation
Wooden signs can be installed indoors or out. To hang, drill holes using appropriate drill bits for wood or take advantage of professionally drilled holes produced by Signs.com. Hang using rope, string, chains or bungees. Signs can also be installed onto wooden posts or other rigid substrates using screws or bolts.

Avoid contact with abrasive materials. These signs can be cleaned with a damp cloth to remove dirt. Do not expose them to fire or other high heat sources. Store in a cool, dry location. If your wooden sign is coated with protective laminate, we recommend using clean cloth and a citrus-based cleaner or cleaning mix of 70% isopropyl alcohol and 30% water.

“Would not buy a sign here. Had a sign made printed on wood. The sign had 3 circular indentations in the subsurface. Talked to them 5 separate times either over the phone or via chat on their website. Their only solution was they couldn’t guarantee zero indentations with wood, only with their aluminum signs....... I searched their website for warnings about this several times and found none. They also admitted it isn't mentioned on their website. Only recourse I had if we didn't want the sign was a return of 50% of what the item cost. Terrible”

I received my order a week ago, emailed the company TWICE in regard to it being done improperly & I am currently waiting for someone to pick up the phone. I have now been on hold for 30+ minutes. I was hoping to enhance the marketing of my business and have now lost a week of promotions. Someone needs to contact me ASAP or I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and my Attorney General.”

Does installation require more than one person?

A:
Typically one person can install a smaller sign by themselves. We recommend that for larger signs more than one person install the sign. The size of the sign itself makes it an awkward and difficult task to complete without the help of a second person. In both cases, it is recommended that careful consideration of the placement of the sign and pilot holes are drilled in advance of lifting or attempting to affix the sign.
